The winner of Mother Teresa's contest is "Zemlyane" Production Group
The project prepared by A.G. Kulikov and "Zemlyane" Production Group won the first prize at the international contest of charitable projects named after Mother Teresa. It is a unique case for Russia. In the past three years "Zemlyane" have been actively developing the program of helping maternity hospitals in Nizhni Novgorod. The project is called the "Cradle". Due to this program, the maternity hospital #6, in which the project is realized, has received the newest resuscitation equipment.
It's not a secret that in our maternity hospitals often lack not only the necessary equipment and medicines, but also human warmth and kindness. It made "Zemlyane" Production Group develop a project which would help to improve the relations between the staff and the patients.
The aim of the "Cradle" program is to make women feel comfortable in a maternity hospital. The results of this program are evident: the atmosphere has become warmer; the staff has become more conscious about their behaviour.
